“As a STEM major and dance minor at a liberal arts college, I wanted to connect my passions in honor of the liberal arts college experience. I’m thankful to continue my dance career while pursuing a degree in Environmental Science. I’ve also been grateful to be able to spend my college career in Chestertown, where anywhere you look is an expanse of field and woods. For this project, my goal was to combine dance and the beautiful scenery on the outskirts of Chestertown. I chose a place I always wanted to explore up close, an old abandoned barn surrounded by fields of green. Standing under that old silo and looking out over the waving grass invokes a kind of nostalgia that is indescribable and I wanted to share that feeling with you all.“ - Paleena Amy
