Its Springtime…no matter if it is snowing or the wind is blowing. That means that Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Sola wood flowers are a wonderful gift for Moms, or any special people you want to remember!

These flowers are not fresh nor are they artificial.
So what are Sola Wood Flowers…they are made from a plant called aeschynomene aspera. (Because it is difficult to say as well as spell so we call it Sola!) This porous wood product is shaved thin and shaped into individual flower petals then tied at the base to form a flower. The feel is that of foam or cork and it is very lightweight. You might notice knots or veins in the flower petals; this comes from the plant itself and adds a very natural organic vibe.
Many refer to these as “forever flowers”. In their natural form they are a soft cream color or they can be painted to match to your specific need.
