Today took me back to the ultimate back-to-school celebration—the Bud Billiken Parade! @budbillikenparade This is more than just a parade; it’s a powerful tribute to legacy, unity, culture, and the bright future ahead.

In a special collaboration between @Discover Financial and @AVentsbyAugust , we had the honor of curating, and planning Discover’s debut sponsored participation in the largest African American parade in the United States!
This video, produced by @Five11Cinema beautifully captures the vibrant energy, cultural pride, and community spirit that define this iconic event.
AVents by August worked closely with the Discover team to produce not only the parade experience but also a mini-festival within the park called “Discoverland.” We brought the community together for a celebration of education and empowerment by giving out school supplies, groceries, mental health resources, ice cream, job opportunities, and more!

We are a full service event production + design firm. Our studio is where we design but also host workshops + sell household plants, pot/vases, our sister company @thehonesthostess and products from local brands.
We rent out our studio for photo/video shoots, small events, meetings and workshops.
Situated under radiant natural light and surrounded by vibrant greenery, our open floor plan offers over 900 square feet of blank canvas to bring any creative concept or design idea to life.
