Today as we joyously mark the 70th year of our reborn country, we somberly remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve it. On Yom Hazikaron we remember and honour our fallen Mothers and Fathers, brothers and sisters, our aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends because we are all family. We all grieve. May their memories be a blessing and may their light shine forward for all generations to come. Am Israel Chai!

Today we mark Yom Hazikaron L'Shoah and the martyrs. Today as always we remember the victims of the genocide of our people and those who fell to defend them. May their memories be always remembered. May their memories be a blessing and a guiding light in our actions. If we had our state at this time so many more could have been saved. May we never take Israel for granted. Club 1948 proudly stands and says NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN will we be victims of atrocity. NEVER AGAIN will our blood be cheap, and NEVER AGAIN will our land and culture be stolen from us. We answer the N***s and our enemies, those who have tried to destroy us with the strongest cry we have. The people of Israel live! AM ISRAEL CHAI!

For the past three years we have been working hard representing Club 1948 at the Annual IAC Kenes in Washington DC. I cannot express how much pride it gives us to see thousands of Israeli Americans sitting together and coming together from a wide variety of groups with a singular purpose: To strengthen the Israeli American Community and to strengthen U.S. -Israel relations. We come together in times of peace and we stand together in times of war. No matter what side of the ocean we stand on, no matter what country we reside in, we are one people. Our fates our tied. Am Israel Chai!
