Hey y’all! I’ma dummy and forgot to announce that our new song dropped on Grimace Records !

It’s on every major music platform if you wanna go check it out!

It’s a rap song about addiction and that lifestyle.

I thought it’d be good to tell the more realistic side of hard drugs since there’s so much music/art romanticizing and gassing up that way of life.

I always was very involved in drugs since 13 and by 15 I was a double felon for theft.

At 19 I was a full blown op**te addict and things only got worse and worse from there. So my entire adult life I’ve always been battling with this non stop and was in active addiction before the band started and the first 5 years into playing.

A big part of why I started was cause all my heroes were he**in addicts and I thought it was a some kind of tool to unlock an esoteric knowledge in art.

Which is complete bu****it and only ever destroyed the things I should have been more grateful for.

For those like me who got caught up in he**in / m**h, it’s a full time job. Eating up all your time, happiness, relationships and before you know it you don’t even recognize yourself.

It’s a lot of heartaches and headaches and we only wish we would have listened sooner and never picked it up.

Now 2 and half years on since joining a suboxone program I still struggle and have serious health issues from being active so long.

Lost so many great friends and almost lost my own life a couple times without even realizing till later.

For all young people out there that bump our music who might be getting into hard drugs, don’t believe the hype. It’s all bu****it and any glorification you hear bout it is misguided.

Some can be casual users but some of us aren’t and by the time you find out it’s far too late. I promise you’ll spend the rest of your life regretting the path you chose.

But I could tell y’all bout it forever and still nobody would listen!!! Just like I didn’t when I was younger!

So anyways I genuinely don’t want anyone to listen to this song and think it’s an exciting story or glorification of drugs cause the purpose was to hopefully warn of just how not worth it, it all is. - Andre.
