Are silk flowers tacky ? Would you think about incorporating silk flowers into your wedding?

A common misconception that silk/ fake flowers are tacky when it comes to wedding arrangements.

While this can hold some truth, it’s primarily the case if you choose low-quality options. In such instances, it’s better to explore other alternatives, dollar store , foam flowers bought from Amazon certainly won’t contribute to an elegant setup.

However, the scenario shifts when you collaborate with a florist who specializes in premium silk blooms that have a realistic and organic feel. By going a step further—like we do with our hybrid designs—you can open up a world of new possibilities, allowing you to create your dream wedding at a fraction of the cost.

What is a wedding coordinator and do you need one ?

A wedding coordinator is tasked with the planning and ex*****on of a wedding, ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly and as intended. In our case , my team and I collaborate with our couples from the very beginning, even as a wedding coordinator. The key distinction with full wedding planning lies in the level of responsibility we assume. However, we believe it’s crucial to establish a relationship with our couples and be a guiding presence, regardless of the service they hire us for.

The earlier we start working together, the better, as we can help prevent costly mistakes and avoid situations that lead to stress as the big day approaches. This is just one of the many reasons we engage with ALL our couples from day one.

Some of the responsibilities as wedding coordinator include:

- Planning
- Meeting with the couple to establish a timeline and create floor plans
- Communicating with vendors to coordinate details

- Day-of Coordination
- Managing the rehearsal and overseeing the ceremony and reception
- Ensuring that everyone remains on schedule

- Troubleshooting
- Addressing any issues that may arise to ensure the couple’s plans are followed

- Supporting the Couple
- Offering expert assistance to facilitate a smooth event
- Helping the couple relax and fully enjoy their special day

‼️Now, the crucial question is: do you really need a wedding coordinator? The only time I would say it’s acceptable to forgo one is when you are eloping. Even in that case, there are still logistics to manage, but they’re significantly fewer than with a traditional wedding. Therefore, I strongly recommend considering hiring a coordinator. Remember to inquire, inquire, inquire – don’t settle for the first option you find. Always ask questions and search for the perfect fit. After all, your wedding coordinator will be one of the key individuals spending the most time with you before and during the big day !

- A hand-tied bouquet is appropriate for an intimate backyard gathering, whereas a more elaborate bouquet may be better suited for a grand beach reception.

3. Desired Look
- A small bouquet is ideal for intimate ceremonies or elopements, while a larger bouquet can create a dramatic impact.

4. Bridal Party
- Typically, the bride’s bouquet is larger than those of the bridesmaids, creating a cohesive yet distinguished look.

Common Bridal Bouquet Sizes:

- Petite : 7–9 inches wide; suitable for intimate ceremonies or elopements.
- Standard:11–13 inches wide; versatile across various shapes and styles.
