OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON COVID-19 PROTOCOL

As stewards in the health and safety of our clients and guests, we will require valid proof of vaccination for everyone entering the building for events at The Grand Aberie.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the City of Chicago issued Public Health Order 2012.2 requires commercial events and party venues to verify guests are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Effective January 3, 2022, any individuals 5 years of age or older will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination status against COVID-19. Applicable exemptions apply. For more detailed information review the Chicago Vaccine Requirement FAQ.

As required by the City of Chicago, the following is The Grand Aberie’s protocol:
• Post signage of Chicago Vaccination Requirement at the lobby entrance
• Add note regarding policy on the website and social media channels
• Collect the requisite proof of vaccination status prior to entry directly or through an appointed representative of the client
• Require a face mask inside the venue except when eating and drinking
• Employees who are not fully vaccinated are required to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test results every seven days.

The guidance will be updated as detailed on the city’s FAQ document. The order will remain in effect until the City of Chicago is through the Omicron-driven surge and the risk of overwhelming hospital capacity has passed.
