Proud Parent Moment: I made this candy-filled balloon for our youngest when she tried out for the school softball team. I made it the day she tried out, because I wanted her to know that it didn’t matter if she made the team or not, we were so proud of her for putting herself out there and going for it! Sometimes I have to remind myself to celebrate all things, big and small. The world will beat her up enough in due time 😩 For now I’ll try to celebrate her as much as I can. When I’m not killing her 😉😂

Prom season is upon us!!!🥰 Although we still aren’t back to normal, it’s nice to see some resemblance or normal life starting to resume. The last two years have been extremely hard on everyone, but the high school seniors especially have missed milestones that they have looked forward to since the beginning of their high school journey 😢 It filled my heart with joy to be asked to create columns for a senior prom send off ❤️

Happy teacher’s appreciation week! Two things I learned during this time: 1. I am not a teacher. 2. Teachers are very underpaid for what they have to deal with daily 😩 This pandemic has been hard on everyone and teachers have been one of the most impacted. So I’d like to give a huuuge thank you to all the teachers around the world. Thanks you for showing up despite the situation and trying to keep our children engaged and encouraging them to continue to learn despite the world being in shambles. You are very appreciated.
