It's and it's also so I just NEED to speak on how important .

I grew up admiring ny mom and her colleagues. I was fortunate to see in leadership roles; however, I know A LOT of young girls who weren't exposed to until they had already discovered their own.

This year I cried as the claimed her place in history. As SHE broke a and took a seat at the table. I cried as my daughter looked at the TV screen and her eyes became more aware of the possibilities.

When the and fist bumped, I heard their unspoken words; of saw the baton being passed. When so eloquently spoke I again felt my back get straighter and my cheeks get wet from the admiration. The PRIDE. The sparkle in my daughter's eye said .
