DMT Entertainment & Events has ceased operations but founder Denise McGowan Tracy remains available for entertainment consulting services from her new base in SW Michigan as she continues introducing her stage production, Eleanor's Very Merry Christmas Wish - The Musical, to audiences throughout the country.

DMT Entertainment & Events was delighted to provide an assist to the talented teams of Landmarks Illinois and PJH for the 2020 Legendary Landmarks Celebration honoring Timuel Black, The Walsh Group and Joseph Gromecki. It was an outstanding evening supporting Landmarks Illinois and their mission: People Saving Places for People. Performers needed for the world premiere of an original 65 minute holiday musical, “Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish” by Denise McGowan Tracy with music and lyrics by Kathleen Gibson and McGowan Tracy. The North Pole is magical place full of happiness, friendship and love – home to a rag doll named Eleanor and her North Pole family Santa, Mrs. Claus, Clara and Twinkle, Sprinkle and Sparkle the elves, Eleanor understands the importance of family and home which is why she has a very merry Christmas wish of her own. With the help of all her North Pole family, Eleanor learns that wishing alone is simply not enough to truly make your dreams come true as she finds a best friend and home of her own with Noelle.

Please prepare 32 bars (1 minute) of a Pop-sounding Musical Theatre song. Please bring your book, you may be asked to sing a second song. An accompanist will be provided.

DMT Entertainment was pleased to join Marty Balogh and his team at The American Bar Association to co-produce "IT IS ONLY FAIR 3" a concert and rally in support of Legal Services Corporation at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco as a part of the ABA Annual Meeting. Master of Ceremonies Joey Jackson (CNN Legal Analyst) served again as the Master of Ceremonies. Speakers included ABA President Robert Carlson and LSC President Jim Sandman as well as so many of the people with Legal Aid offices who do such great work each day. We were inspired by the words of some of the clients who have had their lives impacted in a positive way by this wonderful organization. A powerful event made even more so with the talents of vocalists Robert Sims, Nancy Hays and Scott Taylor-Cole as well as violinist Kippy Marks - all under the solid musical direction of Eryn Allen. Thank you ABA for allowing DMT to be a part of this annual event.

DMT Entertainment was pleased to be asked back to work with Landmarks Illinois on their successful Legendary Landmarks Celebration 2019. Once again we created some magic! Working in tandem with their wonderful staff and committee we secured the talents of Chicago's own Tim Kazurinsky who served as the Master of Ceremonies, Steve Biossat and his Sway Chicago who brought great sounds to both the pre-dinner and VIP Dessert Reception.
Of course, The Shannon Rovers were a hit as they called people to dinner. And, a guest favorite is always the talent provided by Zzazz Entertainment. This year, yet again, in sought-after in custom hats created by Kevin Barthel. Always a great evening. Thank you again Landmarks Illinois!

What a thrill to meet Ms. Buckley and to put on a program in her honor. With Master of Ceremonies Bill Zwecker the evening featured the talents of Chicago, Broadway and beyond talents Karen Mason, E. Faye Butler, Heidi Kettenring, Susie McMonagle, Sophie Grimm, Scott Gryder, Donterrio Johnson and Kimberly Lawson (she plays the violin!). Under the superb musical direction of Nick Sula there was indeed, "Magic to Do". I am grateful to all of these "old friends" and some new for their gifts of this wonderful evening. DMT Entertainment is thrilled to be working with The Sarah Siddons Society on the annual Gala honoring Betty Buckley on Monday, November 12th. For those of you not familiar with the Sarah Siddons Society - HERE is their good work and why I hope you'l consider buying a ticket to the evening. The program will include a salute to Ms. Buckley's career with musical performances by Karen Mason, E. Faye Butler, Heidi Kettenring and Susie McMonagle as well as our "Ensemble" featuring Donterrio Johnson, Kimberly Lawson, Scott Gryder and Sophie Grimm under the musical direction of Nick Sula.
Here is their story:
Sixty-four years ago a group of dedicated Chicago theatregoers saw the film All About Eve and decided to create a version of the movie’s fictional Sarah Siddons Society in Chicago. This film, which earned fourteen Oscar nominations, was the only one in Oscar history to receive four acting nominations—two for its leading ladies Bette Davis and Anne Baxter, and two for its supporting players Celeste Holm and Thelma Ritter. In the film, Anne Baxter was awarded a statuette of the famous eighteenth-century Shakespearean actress Sarah Siddons. Seeing this tribute, those theatregoers not only created a real Sarah Siddons Society, but in 1952 they presented their first Acting Award—a replica of that same statuette used in All About Eve to Helen Hayes, one of America’s premiere leading ladies.
The list of Sarah Siddons Acting Award recipients reads like a Who’s Who of Great American Actresses. Included in the list of honorees are Beatrice Lillie, Deborah Kerr, Shirley Booth, Geraldine Page, Myrna Loy, Carol Channing, Celeste Holm, Lauren Bacall, Bette Davis, Colleen Dewhurst, Angela Lansbury, Julie Harris, Liza Minnelli, Bernadette Peters, Julie Andrews, Elaine Stritch, Chita Rivera, Patti LuPone, Barbara Cook, Audra McDonald, Bebe Neuwirth, Jessie Mueller, Sutton Foster, Kate Baldwin and Kate Shindle.
Since its inception, the mission of the Society has been to fund scholarships to promising theatre students at top drama departments in the Chicago area, including Columbia College, DePaul University, Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and Northwestern University.
Recent new endeavors include a partnership with the Black Ensemble Theatre’s Plays with a Purpose, a series of musical productions reaching hundreds of school children, written to teach children positive life lessons for the purpose of fostering development, self-esteem, confidence and self-respect. In past seasons, the Society supported Chicago Humanities Spring Festival—Stages, Sights and Sounds—exposing disadvantaged students to theatregoing experiences.
The Sarah Siddons Society regularly recognizes Chicago’s finest actresses with its Leading Lady Awards including Laurie Metcalf, Lia Mortensen, Paula Scrofano, Kate Fry, Heidi Kettenring, Hollis Resnick, Barbara Robertson, Rondi Reed, Mary Beth Fisher, and E. Faye Butler, to name a few.
