This morning’s sunrise brought light, hope, joy. I have so much to celebrate and be grateful for. 20 years ago today, I opened the doors to my business. We, as Americans, usher in new leadership and look forward with hope. I celebrate my father’s birthday- a mentor, a teacher, my family, my friend. How did I get so lucky??

Happy New Year!! Today, we relax, enjoy the quiet moments- this week, it is back to the hustle. 2020 was a feisty lady- challenging, strange, frustrating, but also different, beautiful, quiet. I had a summer of less weddings and less work, but got so many cherished moments with my girl. I ran the business and studio in a solo mission, and fell in love with floral design all over again. I researched learning pods, hired a teacher, rented a space and got my girl back to “school” with an amazing, small group of families. I miss gathering with friends and family, but feel so lucky to have the connections we all keep nurturing in virtual and masked moments as well as great love in my life. Feisty ladies? I love them, most people know this about me. I strive to be one, surround myself with them, teach my daughter to be one. 2020- thanks for reminding us to never give up, be ok with a challenge and still love the hard moments. 💚 Allison

I love this city. I love owning a small business in this city. I love raising my daughter in this city.
I left the studio this afternoon and took a 3 hour walk- trying to find a voice, wrap my head around the events of the last week, embrace this powerful city. I need to do more, I want to share, I want to help empower. This week and next week- I will donate 100% of all sales to Small Business Relief Fund. Opening and running a small business is hard enough- to have everything destroyed in the matter of hours is unimaginable and devastating.
