Our motto is “Celebrate Everything!” Be confident that while you celebrate, we administrate! Our BTS event work involves many unsung support roles that we provide or enlist which have proven critical for our clients’ projects over the years. These can go beyond our widely understood responsibilities.

Think VIP travel & hospitality desk staffing, outside security team detail and protocols, on-site transport coordinator, speciality stylists, guest RSVP intake, registration personnel, restroom attendants, auction software development & website updates, social media for start-up’s, weather contingency plans, ADA clear routing, table linen steam team, green room rider oversight, PR and media team accommodations, rental inventory checks, budgeting & billing, regular operations team updates, loading dock logistics, handyman residential work, scheduling crew meals, building & fire permit clearance, health inspections, noise ordinances rules, emergency medical back-up plans, child or pet care coverage, tipping staff, post-event recaps, client resolutions, etc.! Heck, we have even arranged for notary, witnesses, and legal messenger on actual event days. It is our role to facilitate and fulfill any niche needs that lead to an enhanced or safer event experience so you can simply celebrate!

This was a moment! A stunning launch for Grace & Jack in 2025. Big moments (looking at you, V***e Clicquot champagne parade and grand bagpiped recessional) and remarkable details (coquettish black velvet bows on each glass, important rounded statement bar synced with guests' custom rounded menus, groom's signature ice cream cart as a surprise from his bride.) A perfectly precious start for this darling pair along with a stellar team to pull it off!

Lydia and Chris's wedding at the exclusive Casino Club was a beautiful expression of refined romance. High-gloss, rich greens and gilded golds complemented formal black and white, which perfectly suited the urbane guests at their intimate celebration!

The Community House Holiday Ball is one of the only locally-hosted formal galas, taking place each year in The Community House gymnasium. For the past 12 years, The Community House gym has been beautifully transformed into a stunning ballroom by Kristina Taheri Special Events. Kristina's talents allow guests to be transported from Hinsdale to an elegant winter wonderland as soon as they step into the space. We had an opportunity to talk with Kristina to learn more about how she achieves such a fete and why she supports The Community House and Holiday Ball:

"The Community House and the annual Ball was one of my first projects upon relocating my company, Kristina Taheri Special Events, to Hinsdale from San Francisco twelve years ago.
So, needless to say, it remains a special event close to my heart. I truly appreciate the faith The Community House director and board has in my ability to transform a working gym into a magical and chic venue year after year.

In this particular event, the process typically starts with a number of design concepts from the annual chairs. It is fun and rewarding to be able to integrate their ideas in to a unique black tie affair while staying on budget. A team of trusted service providers and my staff work to put a look together that will be memorable and unlike previous years. The surprise element of different themes, colors, lighting, food, and entertainment are meant to delight the guests on an annual basis. Boring is not an option!

This years fabulous star lit "Winter of Wonder" showcases rich blues, contemporary shimmering silver and frosty crystal, all reflecting that winter wonderland feel. I am very excited about, with the input of this year's enthusiastic chairs, showcasing a unique look for our valued community fundraiser while welcoming many new guests to this year's extravaganza!"

Founder’s Background: Kristina Taheri Special Events launched her company in New York City over 20 years ago, relocated it to San Francisco and then moved to Hinsdale in 2012.
With a Masters of Management from Cornell University and years of high end event experience, Kristina focuses on approximately thirty events a year in order to be the face of the event.
KTSE productions include fund raisers, business, and personal celebrations.

This is the first time in the 25-year history of Pantone’s color of the year that they’ve chosen a shade of brown, which is kind of a big deal. Mocha Mousse..A harmonious dusty brown that appeals to our desire for comfort (and comfort eating?!) The annual Cures Gala “Tuscan Harvest of Hope” was set in an estate tent awash with warm enveloping layers of golden amber light. Gilded carriage lantern chandeliers overhead offered an Italian countryside flair to the tent. Warm ivory metallic linen and coordinating velvet napkins set the stage for chic autumnal floral in shades of goldenrod, taupe, creamy ivory and yellow. Sumptuous blooms and massed collections of candlelight infused vivacious luminescence across tabletops. Flecks of metallic gold and crystal surfaces added sparkle and opulence, reflected throughout the spaces for this splended, star-studded formal benefit supporting Gateway for Cancer Research! 🤩

Producing this highly complex annual event is among our most personally rewarding accomplishments. With 50+ celebrity chef teams, a bevy of mixologists, 600 food-passionate guests, and collaborating with countless service pro’s, this culinary extravaganza is an extraordinary benefit success story for Meals on Wheels Chicago! The equivalent of 20 restaurant opening nights launching, simultaneously….Yes, Chefs! 🚀😅
