Our hearts are with all the family, friends and entire community who are mourning this tragic loss.💔

Downtown Springfield, Inc. joins the Springfield community in mourning the tragic loss of Emma Shafer. In her young life, Emma made an outsized imprint on Springfield as an organizer, activist, and advocate. One of the many causes that Emma dedicated herself to was the continued revitalization of downtown Springfield—her unwavering support for downtown causes will be sorely missed.

In life, we are taught to leave our little corner of the world in a better place than we found it. Emma embodied this lesson, and we can all honor her memory by continuing the work she started. We send our love to Emma’s family, friends, and loved ones as they grapple with this profound loss.

With the rebrand, I thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce myself for those of you who may not know me!

First things first -- I'm Hannah!

I am an avid gardener, and if you are around me long enough I will try to give you seeds or talk to you about my sourdough starter. Any Great British Bake Off fans??

My favorite word is lovely and I think my Nepresso is the best thing we ever purchased. I spend my days bouncing between school pick-ups and floral proposals. Again, so happy you stopped by and can't wait to hear from you!
