For over 40 years young opera singers have competed in the annual competition in hopes of becoming the Grand Prize winner. Held in a banquet setting, guests are serenaded by Junior Division winners as they enjoy a gourmet Italian dinner. Following dessert, contestants from the Student and young Artist Divisions compete for over $50,000 in monetary prizes. The Grand Prize Winner receives a cash pri

ze of $10,000.00 to be used to further their education and/or operatic career. All evenings are held at Monastero's Ristorante & Banquets, 3935 West Devon Avenue in Chicago, located at Devon & Pulaski/Crawford Avenues.
