All this snow has us thinking about white ! Available locally in the fall and from the southern hemisphere in the spring, these petite white clusters were everywhere in Julie and Andy's gorgeous wedding at Chicago Botanic Garden Weddings with Clementine Custom Events and Melissa Samek.

After being at 855 Blackhawk Street for 7 years, it’s strange to think that come Monday we’ll be walking into a whole new set of doors opened by a different set of keys and that the view from our windows won’t be the same (good-bye all you fabulous designer dogs from the Sono buildings)! We have loved our time in this space - a loft that was found serendipitously with , slowly transformed from a dump to what we see in these photos, and lived in fully.

So many great people went through here, long days and nights were had, and we were always surrounded by flowers (living and dying) every day in this place, so it makes it pretty special, forever.

BUT we’re pretty giddy about our new home and can’t wait to share more! Details to come and thank you for everyone’s patience as we make this transition (in other words, unbury ourselves from underneath a mountain of boxes and packing material). Special thanks to Sara Wenokur Jacqui Carr and Moovers Chicago Inc for suffering alongside me this week!

2018 is proving to be the year of many changes for Vale of Enna, the first big one to announce being that Kathy Rubio (), our most trusted studio manager and one of the gentlest souls alive, had to go see about a girl and moved to Cali last month to do life with her. Best and saddest news ever! Thank you for being with, and loving, Vale of Enna as much as I have beautiful girl (8 whopping years)! Who will build all the things with their engineering brain? Give the best hugs? Muppet-laugh at all the floral deformities and mutations? Know all the Kpop trivia with me? So thankful for the flavor you lent to us here, Kathy. Love you and miss you. 📷:

Did you know that if you're engaged, Crate and Barrel has an event called the Registry Event where you can register for your gifts while nibbling on snacks and downing fancy coffee drinks from Limelight Catering?!? AND you can win presents at the end of it from a raffle. Amazing!

For this one, the ladies got to wear head crowns compliments of Vale of Enna and/or got to have their names beautifully written in calligraphy on marble tiles by Grace Niu Design all the while surrounded by Jim Perona (Official Music Page) classical guitar music. Rent The Runway was there with ideas for dresses and CoChic Styling to help add the details.

These colors! Adored Lydia and Han's color scheme, which came together so perfectly once the dresses, tablecloths and flowers all combined on their wedding day. Check out this romantic, traditional yet summer-y day with the lush and verdant Chicago Botanic Garden in the background and a lot of gorgeous and happy people throughout.

Shout out to the stars of this wedding Lydia and Han and the always amazing Charlene Liang at Sweetchic Events who kept things organized and running smoothly while the fabulous Steve Koo Photography stood behind the lens.
