The Salvation Army Adele and Robert Stern Red Shield Center The Adele and Robert Stern Red Shield Center is The Salvation Army Corps Community Center in Englewood.

Our 50,000 square foot Red Shield Center and 50,000 Square Foot Englewood building offers a wide array of activities and services for people of all ages, which makes us a unique destination for the entire family and positions us to serve those in need. Our current programs and ministries include opportunities for worship, fitness, and youth and senior programs. Our recreational features include an

indoor sports complex comprised of a basketball court, walking track, fitness center and other amenities. The Red Shield Center is one of more than 20 corps community centers throughout Chicagoland. Corps Community Centers are the heart and soul of The Salvation Army. They are the entry point for people in need seeking all types of assistance — feeding their families, paying rent and utility bills, educational and recreational programs for people of all ages, mentorship, worship and more.
