Performing Arts Camp at Saint James Church

June 20-25, 2020 The week long camp will be held on the St. James’ campus at 7400 W. Foster in Chicago. A potluck lunch follows the Sunday celebration.

Saint James Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the 6th annual summer Performing Arts Camp to be held June 24 through June 28 (and June 30th). A culminating celebration featuring the camper's performing (drama, dance, & song) will be held on Sunday June 30th as part of the 10:00 am service. The Performing Arts Camp is for children and youth who will be entering grades 1—9 in the Fall of 2013.

All those who are in this age group are welcome to be a camper. Each camper will have the opportunity to experience general music enrichment, vocal music skills, dance and movement techniques, drama and public speaking coaching, daily service projects as well as discussions on life-skill topics. For campers entering grades 7 - 9, some stage-craft experience will be offered.

Performing Arts Camp
Easy As "1-2-3" Cake:

You need two boxes of cake mix. One can be any flavor you prefer, but the other MUST be Angel Food cake mix.
Mix them together (shake them in a big bowl).

Then simply store the mixture in an airtight container until you get the urge for dessert.

Then just put three Tbsp. of the dry mixture in a big coffee mug and stir in 2 Tbsp of water.

Microwave it for one minute and you will have a single serving of cake!

Top with fruit, ice cream, whipped cream or whatever! Awesome for those of us who want something sweet every now without making an entire cake!
