12 years ago, Party Like A Princess began as a spark of an idea that would go on to ignite a passion in the hearts of so many. And 12 years of making magical memories has taught us a great deal. We’ve learned that…

-It’s not about the costumes, wigs, and accessories.
-It’s not about how many followers or likes you have.
-It’s not about how great your photos are.
-It’s not about how many bookings you have.
-It’s not about being the star of the show.

It’s about enriching a child’s life, whether you have 60 minutes or 60 seconds to make a connection. It’s about putting in the hard work, even when it’s behind the scenes and out of sight from everyone else. It’s about learning and growing… and then learning and growing some more. It’s about doing the right thing- always. It’s about making mistakes, and being wise enough to actually learn from them. It’s about being a kind person that other people want to be around. It’s about leading by example, but keeping yourself humble enough to let others lead you, as well. It’s about learning how to say yes, and when to say no. It’s about friendship, laughter, kindness, joy, love, determination, patience, hope… and making magical memories for everyone we meet.

As we close out our final week with Party Like A Princess, we wanted to take a moment to look back at our final two public events and share some of our favorite moments. ✨

First up… the Patio! On May 19th, we joined in one final collaboration with the Patio Theater to host a Princess Movie Party with TEN characters! It was an absolute blast, and we were blown away by the amount of people who attended. Thank you to our friends at the Patio Theater for seeing the difference in what we do, and choosing us as their partners to create magical memories for Chicago. It’s been an honor. 🩷

Last weekend we invited our team members to a keepsake photoshoot so they could get some nice photos as their favorite characters, and try on certain costumes and wigs for the first (and for some, the last) time. It was a day filled with giddy excitement, ooh-ing and aah-ing over each other’s pictures, memories to last a lifetime. The beautiful pictures were just the cherry on top of an already perfect day!

We would love to share this beautiful memory with you! 💕

⭐️FINAL EVENT ALERT!⭐️ It is with great joy that Party Like A Princess announces its final event... A Million Magical Memories: The Happily Ever After Party!

When we first began planning our final event several months ago, we started designing our biggest event ever... and then we realized something important: the whole "bigger is better" mindset just isn't us, and it never has been. So instead, we decided to close out our 12 years of business doing what we do best- connecting with our community and making magical memories at the place where it all started. 💕

So... what IS this event? It'll be a mix of Stories in the Park, a picnic in the park, a character meet & greet, a walk down memory lane, and a few little magical surprises here and there (because, let's be real, we're still all about the little things!). ✨And it's FREE!✨

Who is invited? ANYONE who wants to join! If your children are currently loving characters, if they've met our characters in the past and have "aged out", if you're someone who has worked with us, for us, alongside us, or just a kind member of the community who is happy to support us and celebrate with us... we want to see you!
