We are learning in flight! I am learning what leading is and how to let go. I am learning communication and how the example you set, sets the tone...I am learning not to think singularly and to embrace the talent around me. I am learning trust. This team is learning with me....it is a VERY SCARY thing to place your vision, your heart, and soul in the hands of others to execute. As the young people say, I got this business "out the mud". I have literally given everything I have and everything I am to this labor of love. This is not easy and I hate the social media really doesn't allow you to really get belownthe surface of how this all really goes down but I will say this...this week has taught me that I got a truly hard working team who literally rode out at (BEFORE) dawn to make DNC week for us a success. Thank you to the NJC crew for hanging in there and rolling with the crazy! Here are some of those who make it happen, led by my fearless kitchen manager, Kadijah!

ABOUT THE OWNER....Nicole Jordan-Reed

Growing up with a large extended family, food was a focal point of many of our celebrations. In a family with many amazing cooks, our gatherings often took on a life of their own, extending far beyond familial ties. Birthdays, holidays, and Sunday dinners, with my maternal grandparent's home as the gathering place, welcomed neighbors and friends alike, where together, we laughed, loved, and ate great food! It was a time for re-connection. It was community.

These fond memories inspired my vision for Nicole Jordan Catering (NJC). With today's fast pace of living, when we can slow down, catch up and reconnect, I want our food to be a part of creating warm memories of celebration and community. Beyond providing great food and exceptional service, our commitment at Nicole Jordan Catering is focused on being a company of service that caters while curating the best parts of life, with food, for you!
