Each of my cards tells a story, distinctive, tailored, and one of a kind. While I was busy creating these amazin

g cards to celebrate life, I have found another passion that sort of surfaced on its own- party decor and event planning. I believe innovation and inspiration do not have to be sacrificial to budget and professionalism. I also do like events to be well done with a side of sarcasm. Teal Pumpkin Project is a simple way to make trick-or-treat safer and more inclusive for children with allergies.

Did you know that one (1) in thirteen (13) children lives with food allergies, and many other children are impacted by intolerances and other conditions?

Every year children look forward to Halloween, planning their costumes and anticipating loads of candy. But kids with allergies (and their parents as well!) always approach Halloween with so much caution about diligent label reading.

Many candies are off limits for children with food allergies, either because their allergen is an included ingredient or simply because of the risk of cross contact.

By placing a teal pumpkin on your doorsteps you signal that in addition to candy your household offers non-food trinkets and treats that are safe for all trick-or-treaters.

Please join me in this project and help us make this Halloween safer and one to remember! 👻🎃

PS. If you need ideas for non-food trick or treat items, please let me know. The trick or treat baggies were a success in the previous years and they were quite inexpensive.

Due to unforeseen personal matters, the past eight months were very quiet for Five Field Avenue. I’m finally back in my creative space, figuratively and literally speaking 😊 My scissors are sharpened, faux floral, ribbon and paper supplies have been replenished.

This is a past project of mine. This spherical “box” houses a tiny card. The box here is made of two pieces of styrofoam with variety of violet flowers and a matching ribbon to close it. It is possible to convert this set to a decorative object and hang it. Except for the fact I am not a huge fan of touching styrofoam, this has been one of my favourite Past Project Series items I’ve created 💜

I haven’t played with paper, scissors and glue in so long. I have missed the creative process so much.

My cousin got married last weekend to a wonderful woman, his soulmate. I’m so very grateful to have been a part of their special day but even more so- I am grateful to have an extra cousin now.

Hopefully I got her favourite colour and she enjoys this card as much as I did making me 💙 Happy birthday, 💙 we love you!

Pink was never a color I personally liked but I have become a huge fan of muted colors, especially- powder pink. I think pink is a color of femininity, of strength and courage, of passion that burns within us and of the vulnerability that comes with it 💓

The box for this particular card is made from a styrofoam sphere and a ton of faux flowers. I’ve spent some serious time working on this project but am so enjoying the final result!

I am always so grateful for all of my clients. They blindly trust me and I get to create the most unique pieces 💗

Attending a retirement party of an old acquaintance, Linda Hirt 💙❤️ As most of you know, singing is not my forte 🤪 but art is in my veins, and I take such great pleasure by surrounding myself with people who love and appreciate art equally.


At DePaul School of Music, her responsibilities included coaching art song and opera as well as teaching the graduate language/diction labs in Italian, German and French.

If you would like to come and hand out candy with me this Halloween, please consider this an invitation. While last year wasn’t very busy in my neighborhood, I do have a well stocked up bar and will make some Halloween themed treats 😉
