Hi, I’m working on my commercial DIRECTING food reel and am cross collaborating with a sushi chef in Chicago to make some content for both our websites and social media. I am looking for some talent (2-3 folks) who are interested in developing their portfolio/ acting reel while eating some of the best sushi you’ll ever eat in your life!

Date: 1/2/23
Rate: $150/8 plus SUSHI!
Hours: 2-10pm
Location: Ladie K/Paper Star studio Ravenswood

Male/Female- 30-50s, any ethnicity. Should be able to play as successful, wealthy, upscale, high end, clean cut with nice hands, no visible tattoos, natural hair, have a great smile, and rock styled fashionable clothing. Should not have any food allergies or restrictions.

Producers, Agents as well as networking with other actors in the Chicagoland area. An opportunity to have them aware that you are around and ready to work, plus finding out what is currently happening and coming up in the entertainment industry that you can possible tap into. On December 17th, starting at 4pm till whenever time in the morning, Every year, we have so much fun we never can predict when it will end.

The Chicago Actors Studio will be holding a rare special FREE workshop on Sunday afternoon October 22nd 12:00noon to 1:30pm for those interested making acting a serious career choice. This workshop is designed not only for those just starting out to venture on this exciting path but also for those already vested in a career and dispelling the many myth out in the business that may be staling your dream of success. It may also introduce you to the valuable and unique training programs available here at CAS, particularly our main workshop, Acting As A Craft.

This workshop will be hosted by the artistic director of CAS and co-star of the hit TV series, Chicago PD.
