1. Organize your things into tiers. The bottom tier will be the heaviest and sturdiest items, like dressers and other furniture or dense heavy boxes and work your way up to the top with the lightest items.
2. Wrap all pieces in furniture pads so they don’t get scratched.
3. Disassemble furniture as much as you can, like removing legs from tables. This will maximize space and minimize damage.
4. Fill all gaps and spaces using blankets, and pillows. This stops items from shifting or scraping one another during transit.
