Their hard work helped make this event truly special! The community altar was a heartfelt centerpiece, allowing everyone to add photos, memorabilia, and messages to honor their loved ones. 🕊️

It’s been a week since our Chico Day of the Dead Festival, and I’m still blown away and very grateful to everyone who came out in support 💛

For our 2nd Annual celebration, I was truly amazed by the incredible turnout. Despite the rain and wind, our vendors, volunteers, performers, and community showed up with so much energy and commitment.

Don’t forget that today marks the first candle 🕯️ to be lit on your altar! October 28th is the day dedicated to lost souls, light a candle and place a white flower on your altar to welcome them.

If you are not comfortable or ready to build an ofrenda at home, that’s okay. You can bring photos, foods, or any offerings to your loved ones to our community ofrenda at the Chico Day of the Dead Festival 💐
