Join us on Saturday, August 17th from 6-9pm at Movement Arts of Chico to celebrate the Blue Moon (also known as the sturgeon moon). 🌕

Shop from over 50 local vendors selling art, clothing, jewelry, food, and more! Get a tarot or aura reading, dance to live music by local talent, and soak in the full moon energy 🧘🏽‍♀️🔮🪩

Lunar Facts:
The August 2024 full moon will be particularly special as it will be a seasonal blue moon. A seasonal blue moon occurs when there are four full moons in a single astronomical season, instead of the usual three.

When this takes place, the third full moon of the four is designated as a blue moon. This type of blue moon is a rather rare occurrence. The last seasonal blue moon was in August 2021, and the next one won’t take place until May 2027.
