If you find yourself over on Humboldt ave. Head into Has Bean Chico for a cup of coffee and check out the new art on the wall by Adrian Elliot!
Surrealist in style with an intricate relationship to rhetorical ideas, my artwork is more vignette than story in that it captures the essence of an idea or experience. With special interest in the way we perceive experience itself, my artwork is a conversation about the internal tension that exists between thoughts and experiences. A pattern of archetypal motifs reveal themselves in my work as I make personal associations with transcultural symbols.

Come out to for an awesome show this upcoming Saturday on Labor Day weekend! We are thrilled to welcome and her wonderful band .measures.music from Berkeley to share the stage with local groups and so make sure to come out to support the touring band and have a fantastic time!

Join us in building community and climate resilience with Butte Environmental Council, South Chico Community Assistance Center, and The Living Room Gallery for the “Beat the Heat Festival” on July 29th from 4-9pm at the South Chico Assistance Center at 1805 Park Ave!

We will also be hosting a trash clean up before the event from 3pm-4pm with a walking performance from renowned musical artist Jonathan Richman so make sure to show up at 3pm for this special treat! We will also have performances from Sunny Herrera, The Human Twitch, Baba Kauna, Lots of Little Worlds, and Mars and The Fine Poets!

As summers get longer, hotter, and drier, BEC is working with local and State partners to educate residents and share tips about how to beat the heat and conserve water.

The Living Room Gallery will host music, arts, and crafts, while Butte Environmental Council, Butte Fire Safe Council, Safe Space, Stonewall, Nor Cal Resist, and many more community organizations will be offering resources and tools for building community and climate resilience.

The suggested donation is $5-25 or pantry items for the South Chico Community Assistance Center, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Come for the cooling zone, interactive booths, music, and art! Stay for the raffle, food, and drinks from Sierra Nevada!

Come build community and climate resilience with BEC, The Living Room Gallery, and the South Chico Community Assistance Center!

Join us for the "Beat the Heat Festival" on July 29th from 4-9 pm at the South Chico Community Assistance Center at 1805 Park Ave.

The suggested donation is $5-$25 or pantry items for the South Chico Community Assistance Center. Live music pre-show neighborhood trash clean up around the South Chico Neighborhood will take place from 3-4 pm.

Come for the cooling zone and art! Stay for the raffle and food!

THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME to announce our long awaited collaboration with the fantastic !!! and will be playing this wonderful venue while they’re both touring and some of our crew (most of which are already touring with them lol) will be assisting to cook up an AWESOME CROSSOVER EVENT! If you plan on being in SAN FRANCISCO ON THE 30TH OF JUNE we better catch you at because it’s going to be AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING!!!
