I am beyond honored to be able to finally share more about the workshop I helped put on in France earlier this year!
With the help of some other incredible vendors we created a full micro wedding day for our guests to photograph and capture a ton of content. It was an absolute dream of mine to photograph a couple in a castle setting so to say I finally did it was an understatement:)

Alex and Nicole’s wedding was set in such a beautiful location over looking the city of San Francisco. You could see a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge that was the backdrop to their vows!

I remember when these two walked into the studio and told me they just found out they were expecting and had just put their deposit down for their venue. They laughed and said we’ll be having a newborn at the wedding 😍
-
Being a parent I knew how that could be a challenge BUT these two were determined and you know what? They rocked their wedding day like no one’s business.

Did you know that I started taking pictures in high school and spent hours in the dark room?

I fell in love with photography in my freshman year and it wasn’t until my mid 20s that I built up the courage to take a college class. Low and behold my first class brought me back to the dark room and I just obsessed over it.

There is nothing like the magic of seeing something come to life before your eyes, it’s quite breathtaking to be honest and still to this day I cannot get enough of it.

Don’t get me wrong I absolutely am blown away by how digital cameras capture images but there is something about film that brings that feeling of excitement back into my soul.

You never know what your gonna get
And yet you obviously know what you took pictures of but the anticipation of seeing them - there really isn’t anything else like it.

I invested in a camera I’ve been dreaming of early this year and have been playing with it to get my film brain back in order and I’m ready to share with the world that I’ll be offering film photos to my wedding clients if they so choose. Just ask about adding it onto your collection.

Trust me the investment will be worth it and I bet you’ll feel the same magical feeling that I do when you see the results 💕

So this is 40 💕
•
To be honest I feel super blessed that I made it to 40
Not everyone makes it here and that’s the hard truth.
•
And To be honest I hope this decade gives me a little grace and I find a way to live life a little easier, with more love and joy and less stress and anxiety of the futures blurriness
•
This last year was one of the hard ones and sadly I broke a little. I had some incredible highs mixed with some incredible lows and shed more tears then most know
•
I shed my skin and I think that I’ve once again became the phoenix and am transitioning through a rebirth
•
With that rebirth comes inspiration but the inspiration feels different this time.
I feel something big building inside but I can’t put my thoughts to words about it.
•
All I know is that I have lots to learn about myself in this new beginning. And I’m thanking you in advance for giving me the space to express it.
