Calling on members of our community for help orchestrating a charity Mario Cart tournament! (We are in the planning stages at this point.)

Our vision:
Using our 20’ movie screen and projector we would love to be able to have the final 8 compete for a cash prize where everyone in attendance can watch.

What we need help with:
1. Looking for people willing to let us borrow their Nintendo switch and Mario cart game for the day (I have one, but we would ideally have 4-8 systems so the preliminary games can be played simultaneously.)
2. Looking for a venue or co-sponsor with a venue where preliminary rounds can be played on switches with tvs, potentially indoors. (A comic book store would be great) (looking for Springfield area or nearby)
3. May or may not need some tvs to accompany loaned Nintendo switches depending on the venue.

Some more details:
-We will be putting up $200 to START the prize fund. Prizes will grow as tickets are purchased. -Tickets to play will be $10/each. 50% of the proceeds will be given to charity, the other 50% will be dedicated to prize winnings.
-Depending on how big the event becomes and where it is hosted, we may invite vendors/food trucks etc. provided they are willing to donate at least 10% of their proceeds to the cause
-I anticipate choosing either Shiners or Baystate Children’s Network as the charity
-We would likely be picking a Sunday in October/November (once our season dies down a bit so I can ensure I can be in attendance without issue)
