We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Robert "Bob" Stanelle, especially his daughter Lanetta who is a member of the Calumet County Fair Board of Directors.

Bob has been a long time supporter, volunteer and exhibitor of the Calumet County Fair. He and his family showed Registered Guernseys at the fair for many years. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Calumet County dairy industry.

In later years Bob could be found entertaining kids and adults alike as "Uncle Bobby" the clown or supporting Lanetta where ever possible. Sundae on the Farm was not complete until you received a piece of cheese and a free milk from "Uncle Bobby" pushing his shopping cart.

Bob's sense of humor and enthusiasm will be missed by all who knew him.

It is day 3 of the Wisconsin Association of Fair's Convention and our 2024 Fairest of the Fair will continue to participate in a variety of workshops and interviews. This afternoon is the Preliminaries, Emily will present a 30-second Radio Advertisement and answer
an impromptu question.

Each contestant will be given 30 seconds to promote their local fair. This will be timed and shared with the judges. A paid radio advertisement creates awareness (branding campaign) of
the client for listeners OR entices listeners to do something (buy something, attend an event, etc.) online or in-person (action campaign).

We are so proud of you Emily - thank you for representing Calumet County with that huge smile.

Our 2024 Fairest of the Fair - Emily Boll, in action explaining her auction item. The auction supports the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair Program. Emily's auction items were the perfect items for tailgating or camping at the fair, consisted of a Blackstone table top griddle with an accessory set, Igloo four-day cooler, 2 bag chairs, and a ferris wheel dessert display.

2024 Fairest of the Fair, Emily Boll will be representing the Calumet County Fair in the selection of the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs this week, during the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Emily is the daughter of Dan and Kris Boll of Chilton. Emily is a Senior at Chilton High School

The Purpose of the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair Program is to promote the exceptional variety of opportunities - educational, agricultural, social, cultural and commercial - available at Wisconsin's county, district and state fairs. It is a position of responsibility to all the people of Wisconsin.

This years selection has candidates representing 33 County Fairs from across Wisconsin. Emily will participate in four days of individual and group interviews, on stage appearances and a number of professional training sessions.

The Calumet County Fair is excited to share that Delightfully Calumet, Inc. Holiday Light Show will be back again this year!

Delightfully Calumet is a joint venture of fifteen civic organizations in Calumet County who have come together to present a drive-through Holiday Light Show choreographed to Christmas music at the Calumet County Fairgrounds in December 2024.

A Christmas light show featuring fifteen 150-foot displays with various themes will be held at Hobart Park/Calumet County Fairgrounds located at 231 Chestnut Street, Chilton, Wisconsin.

The fifteen displays featured will be boasting over 150,000 lights synchronized to Christmas music. Attendees will be asked to tune their car radio into a specified station. Vehicles will drive through the northern section of the Calumet County Fairgrounds to view the displays. Attendees are welcome to visit the Delightfully Calumet light show multiple times in December 2024.

The mission of Delightfully Calumet, Inc. is to offer a quality, fun-filled family event while stocking the shelves for our local food pantries throughout Calumet County. Our goal is to grow food donations each year to help ease the burden of Calumet County food pantries.

ADMISSION: A canned food donation for our Calumet County food pantries. Food pantries that serve Calumet County who will receive the canned food donations are: Helping Hands Food Pantry,
Holyland Food Pantry, New Holstein Christian Thrift Store/Food Pantry, Open Cupboard Food Pantry, The Salvation Army of Calumet County and St. Vincent De Paul - Brillion Area Food Pantry.
Optional – Monetary donations will go to the future growth of Delightfully Calumet Inc. and the participating organizations.

When leaving the light show display, attendees will receive a complimentary 2025 calendar that includes information about the displays, advertisements plus coupons from our local businesses.
