Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Kenny "Kenneth" Pingel. Kenny served on the Calumet County Agricultural Association, Board of Directors for 40 plus years. If there was something going on at the fairgrounds you would find Kenny and his family there helping were they could. Plain and simple "Kenny loved the fair"!
He was proud to be a part of the many improvements at the fair, especially the purchase of land to expand the fairgrounds and the new Grandstand (which is now 25 years old). Kenny spent thousands of hours, mowing lawn, helping with storage in spring and fall, getting buildings ready for the yearly fair and cleaning up after the fair. If you needed help Kenny was always there with helping hands. Kenny was honored as the "Fair Person of the Year" for his many efforts!
