What should YOU Look for, in an officiant?
First and foremost, you should have at least 2 meetings with your officiant PRIOR to Your Wedding!
Why?
The first meeting, is to LISTEN!
They must be able to HEAR You.
All of your religious/spiritual needs, wants or desires, of both parties (and your families) should be a priority.
The first session is a collaboration.
The second session is when your officiant brings the plan back to you for review, changes/tweaks.
Every detail should be YOUR Dream Wedding and Them Some!
So, yes, a good offiant will spend at least 6 hours between those sessions, R&D & Planning.
Then comes the Ceremony.
Your officiant will work hand-in-and with your planner to ensure Your Day goes off without a hitch! (Pun intended!)
Make sure to choose the right people that understand & resonate with you!
