I've heard a whole room full of strangers start singing along with this Linda Rondstadt recording, so it was super popular in the seventies and has stood the test of time. Rock history fans may be interested in the evolution of this song written by Phil Everly. Its performance by the Everly Brothers in 1960 was very different from the version they performed in 1983. Lots of Line Dance is going on at the Sapphire studio. Tonight is Line Dance for established dancers and tomorrow is the Beginner Line Dance workshop. Check here for all the events at Sapphire Ballroom and register and pay in advance by using the link. (Registering and paying ahead helps us save time at the beginning of classes!)
