📡📡 Announcement:

It is with deep gratitude and love that I am announcing Windy’s Flowers will be closing on March 31st. I am truly honored to have been a part of the Windy’s Flowershop legacy in South Bay and San Diego County. There are a number of reasons we have decided to close that are beyond my control but the most important being the celebration of my retirement. After being a part of the Windy’s Flowers family for over 30 years, working round the clock holidays, and six days a week, I have decided it is time to invest in my own wellness. I will take with me the wonderful relationships and memories this place and community have given me, it will be an adjustment that I am looking forward to exploring!

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10th! We will be open on Sunday.
We will have no contact deliveries to keep everyone safe. This requires the driver to ring the door bell and leave the flowers on the porch. No signature required. 😀

Business hours:

Monday- Friday 9am-1pm
Saturday and Sunday closed.

We hope you all are doing well. During this covid-19 crises, we are open for no contact deliveries (porched only) and phone calls or internet orders. Please note that since business has been slow, we are only buying the bare minimum so we won’t have to throw away flowers. All orders will be made as an “open” order meaning we will make something beautiful with what we have. No special orders please.
We take extra care to wipe down vases and also wear gloves and masks. Please be aware that hospitals and senior complexes may or may not accept any deliveries so call them before placing your order. Funeral services may be for immediate family members only. Churches are not holding funeral services due to the close proximity of everyone.
Please be safe and take the extra precautions. We miss seeing you. Until then, sending love and distant hugs. Windy’s Flowers

I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU and SO MUCH APPRECIATION to AT for all the hard work, staying up late after your regular work hours, the designing, painting, cleaning, tossing, etc., and making this all happen! The new shop looks amazing!!!
Many many Thank You’s to Cathy, for coming in every day after work and helping me pack up the old shop (that seemed endless), going through old papers and tossing and then giving me a ride home!
Many many Thank You’s to Dominic, for the endless cleaning and painting and putting things away and always being there and assisting AT and the many late hours you helped to get this new shop to where it’s at.
Many many Thank You’s to Kyle, for packing the old shop up and loading and unloading the sea of boxes and having it ready for the Grand Opening.
Forever Thank You’s to Robert and his crew, for building, hauling, painting, installing whatever was needed to get this new shop functional to our needs. It looks fabulous!
Many many Thank You’s to Ray, for helping with the demolition, hauling, electrical, driving up to pick up the new cooler in Anaheim, the many ideas that would/wouldn’t work in a smaller space. Your professionalism was indeed appreciated. It works and I love it!
And of course to the wonderful friends that came by to help haul, paint, clean, sand, dust, etc., it was those extra hands that we needed to help jumpstart us to get this completed. Cheryl, (Mackenzie too), Essie, Invictus, Noriko, Momo, Dice, Angel, Kai, Shaun and Sophia! Thank you! 😘❤️

📡📡📡 We’re Moving! After 61 years on 4th and E st in Chula Vista, we are moving to 45 Broadway suite C, Chula Vista 91910. We are saddened to leave a space we have called our “home” and a staple in Southbay. We are also very excited about this new chapter! Kim and Joy remain the owners and we will continue to serve the needs of our community’s special occasions with care. Thank you for staying with us after all these years and we look forward to many more!
