Have you ever been to the Madilynn Rose and wondered why there were rocks in the shape of a skyline?

This is the Chicago Skyline, this is a tribute to Darrin’s (the owner) wife, Kim. She was born and raised in Chicago by her parents. Darrin wanted to build this beautiful tribute in memory of his late in-laws. The eight buildings are to signify Glen and Loretta’s eight grandchildren and the three large pots are to signify their three daughters. Every season the pots are filled with beautiful flowers that Loretta loved. The bench, which is often times used for a memorial place at weddings held at the venue, has ‘In Loving Memory of Glen and Loretta’ carved into it. What a beautiful tribute to two wonderful people gone too soon. We hope you enjoy looking at this skyline when you visit the Madilynn Rose, it sure holds a lot of love. 🩵
