We made the short trip to CarFest this weekend. I had a few hiccups with chicken and wanted to trash my pork. Thankfully the judges were kind to us. 16th chicken 13th ribs 11th pork 11th brisket. Not a single top 10 call but still good enough for 8th overall.

It was good seeing some bbq family and actual family. Eddie, thanks for the extension cord and dry ass burgers. 😒

The B Team traveled south for the weekend to compete in the Live Oak County Fair Steak and Cabrito cook off and celebrate Eli's 9th birthday. Eli enjoyed spending time with his cousins and getting on the carnival rides. This was his first time cooking a steak in competition and he knocked it out of the park with a second place walk. We are super proud of this kid. The judges were not as impressed with our steak and ended up 15th. We kept it simple this weekend only traveling with a Chupacabra Rub and Eli's new weber kettle grill. Thank you Tony Zuniga for your hospitality and helping me get around all weekend.

What's up up folks. We've been competing under the B Team for about a year now.
Facebook will not allow me to change the name of the BMF Smokers page so I had to create a new one. Same team with hopefully better food. Give us a like!
