October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. National Mammography Day is the 3rd Friday of October and is a reminder for all women to talk with your health care provider about whether a mammogram is recommended for you and if so to get it scheduled! In general, women age 40 and older should get a mammogram annually. Early detection saves lives!
