We have had a change in our volunteer coordinator position. Michele Wessels will now be our volunteer coordinator. If you would like to help us during the time the Wall is here contact Michele at

We are in need of volunteers to help visitors locate their loved ones name in the Wall, traffic control, passing out water, help assembling the wall as well as disassembling the Wall. We will be posting more updated as confirmations about events are given to us. We still need Financial help🇺🇸 It will truly be an honor to be apart of an event that honors those who gave their All for our Great country America.

We are gearing up for the holiday weekend to honor and remember our veterans.

However you'll be spending your weekend, we hope you'll stop in with your favorite veteran.

Patriotic giveaways while they last!

And for every 6 pack, 12 pack and case of 24 beer sold Friday thru Monday we'll donate .50 to the Eden Chapel Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall fund. We'll be tracking the number sold on our white board inside the drive thru.

Plans for the Vietnam Wall are right on track. Excitement is building. Time is getting close. Have you signed up to volunteer? You still can! We have 4 days of volunteers needed. Hello, all!

July is quickly approaching and funds are still needed for the Vietnam Wall’s visit. The grand total needed is $7,356. This includes the costs for:

- The Wall
- Fuel
- Travel Expenses for Crew

Thus far, we have raised $200. We have a long way to go, but we believe our community can do this!

Hello, all!

My name is Wendy Schroeder and I am the volunteer coordinator for the traveling Vietnam Wall that will be visiting Sayler Park, OH July 8th through July 12th.

Below is a beginning list of volunteer opportunities for the duration of the exhibit. Each job will be for four hour shifts at a time. Any time you are able to volunteer is sincerely appreciated.

- Approximately 10 volunteers to set up panels upon arrival (date and time to be determined)
- Locators (at least two per four hour shift) to help visitors find which panel the name they are looking for is located
- Two guards per night 8 PM-8AM

Please take time to think about what job, dates and times you would like to volunteer and let me know so I can do my best to put each volunteer where they would be happiest serving.

As we near the dates and develop our plans for each day, these roles have the potential to develop and expand as needed. If you participated in a visiting wall event previously and have knowledge or wisdom to share as to how we can better serve our community and our Vietnam Veterans, please feel free to send to me.

Additionally, as with all events, donations will be accepted at Warsaw Federal in Sayler Park. Checks may be made out to Sayler Park Historical Society

We are making progress in the planning for our Mobil Vietnam Wall at Eden Chapel July 8th-12. We have been intouch with Chabots office for help in opening resources for us. We also have a volunteer coordinator, her name is Wendy Schroeder.
If you would like to volunteer please email her at [email protected] she will put you on a list. As with all events we are looking for monetary donations. These donations will be accepted at Warsaw Federal in Sayler Park. Checks can be made out to Sayler Park Historical Society. You can also send them to Eden Chapel.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is pleased to announce a major milestone in the effort to find a photo for every service member on The Wall in Washington, D.C. Of the 58,276 names inscribed on The Wall, fewer than 200 photos are now needed to complete the effort.
