Let me tell you all about this sweater. When we were moving in 2020, we donated a ton of clothes to The Salvation Army. At the time, I had this sweater from Altar'd State and wore it all the time. I always received compliments on it when I wore it. A few days after we dropped off the donations, I had been looking all over my house for this sweater. I looked through all my packed clothes, closet and drawers. I never saw the sweater again. 😢 I assumed it was accidentally thrown in one of the donation bags. I was devestated to say the least. I had gotten it on clearance and it wasn't available to just buy another. I always considered this sweater as "the one that got away." I can't count how many times I thought about this sweater over the past few years. Lol, seriously! Fast forward to today... Owen and I were looking for vintage sweatshirts and sports memorabilia at Salvation Army in Delhi when I looked over and this beauty was staring back at me. It was turned outward on the rack as if it was trying to get my attention. I ran over to it as if we had been long lost lovers. 😆 Sure enough, it was THE SWEATER! You won't believe this, but it happened to be the sale color of the week and it was only .99! It was meant to be. I was in the right place at the right time and found my beloved sweater. I know not to worship material things etc etc, but this was just way too cool of a coincidence to ignore. 😍 The Salvation Army USA 🙏 🤲
