Did you win big yesterday for Derby!? We did!

We had a great time with this fun bunch for Derby Party! This was our third year managing this event for Ryan and Karlee Waters at their beautiful home in Villa Hills.

It was special to reunite with their guests since last year was cancelled due to Covid, and beyond touching to hear everyone tell us how happy they were to know JLEC made it through the pandemic.

A special thanks to my fantastic team! Stormy Jarel Hagedorn, Alisha Yazell, Justin Lykins and Jeff May! You guys worked your butts off yesterday and added so much to the event! Thank you!!!

Spent the day yesterday at Mojave East working some wedding magic ✨

Brittany was the most beautiful bride and has been incredible to work with. I feel like I have walked away from this wedding with a new friend ❤️

The vendors yesterday were all spectacular and made my job so easy! A huge shoutout to the venue owners, Christina and Ben. They literally thought of every detail in creating this amazing venue! Seriously... check it out!!

And the day wouldn’t have been nearly as smooth (or as fun) without my girl Stormy Jarel Hagedorn by my side. You are so talented and there is no one in the world I would rather move crazy heavy tables with 💪🏻💪🏻

We had such a wonderful year but looking at this page, you would never even know we are in business 🤦🏼‍♀️

JL Event Company welcomed our newest addition in April, and as a result, marketing my business took a backseat to motherhood. 😳 Now that I’m finally figuring out how to balance these new roles (ehh..kinda...) I am making it my mission to spam you all with the AMAZING events we were fortunate enough to be a part of this year ❤️

I stood beside 7 incredible couples in 2018, each one as beautiful and kind as the next. How did I get so lucky with the most amazing clients??

Barn Wedding P.E.R.F.E.C.T.I.O.N.!!!

We could go on for days about how perfect this entire wedding was. When the Bride and Groom are clearly MADLY in-love, the event planner (JL Event Co.) nails the decor, the venue is a gorgeous modern-rustic barn, and the night ends with a double rainbow.... you can't lose! Kara & Tyler's Prickel Barn wedding was simply a photographer's dream but the real MVP's were the bride and groom. As photographers, we learn a lot about our couples. Some of them are not very "touchy feely" and some of them not into PDA. Some of our couples are uncomfortable with the camera around and it shows in the images. Kara and Tyler are none of the above. If you watch them interact for 30 seconds you can see how madly, deeply in-love they are. They can't keep their hands off of each other. They laugh constantly and have so much fun just being together. Oh, and the way that Tyler looks at Kara....*swoon* you can see it all in the way he looks at her! You know that couple that is so happy you kind of hate them...... That's Kara & Tyler! :D

I don't need to wish this couple a lifetime of happiness because it's clear that as long as they're together, they will be happy! So Mr. & Mrs. Dahmen, I'll just say THANK YOU for letting us capture your love story!
