inCANdescent was built from hundreds of reclaimed one-gallon paint cans, gathered over the past decade through Keep Cincinnati Beautiful’s community work. These cans were assembled into a mesmerizing cylindrical structure in Washington Park ✨ Did you visit inCANdescent last October?

“Hey Sister” by Betty Mü 🔦 This large-format art projection on the 22-story American Building paid homage to the female artists in Cincinnati’s sister city: Munich. The piece featured brilliant musicians and actresses, conceptual artists and photographers, tattoo artists and graffiti artists, prima ballerinas, and world-class violinists.

"Born and raised in Cincinnati, I've always been inspired by the city's rich history of innovation. From the early pioneers to the modern-day innovators, our ancestors' hard work and dedication have shaped the city we call home. As I watched BLINK transform our streets, I couldn't help but think of them and the countless tradespeople who built this city. It's a beautiful tribute to their legacy." - Claire Muenchen, BLINK Retail Associate

"BLINK was incredible for and for our region. It brought us our three largest sales days of the year and introduced us to an entirely new audience we wouldn’t have reached otherwise. Events like this show how community and creativity can come together to support local businesses." - , Local Business Owner

“I have attended BLINK for many years, but this was my first time walking in the parade. Walking in the parade reignited my excitement for the event, and it was amazing to see crowds of inspired people coming together to kick off the weekend. Being a Cincinnati native, I am so proud to show off the city in this way, and I love seeing how the creativity continues to evolve each year.” - Allie Ballweg, 2024 Parade Participant (P&G)

"It’s amazing to see how each lantern captures the unique creativity and imagination of students from across the area. Our partner schools embraced this project, and the students loved being part of something that brings the community together. I’m thrilled to see all of these lanterns come to life at the BLINK Festival!" - Ian Smith, Founder and Executive Director of Skool Aid
