Currently headed to Tennessee for a weekend getaway with my husband! This week we’re celebrating my son’s angel day - I can’t believe it’s been a year already. Hoping to make this a yearly trip to celebrate his little life 🩵

Wrapping up my final wedding of the year with a beautiful fall day!

Ended the day by throwing out my tried and true wedding shoes after super gluing and duct-taping them together to get through the remainder of the day 😅

Today is International Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today we remember all of the sweet little babies that were taken from us too soon.

For those that might be new around here - I lost my own newborn son, Colton last year after he was born 3 months prematurely. He lost his little life to an infection called NEC at just 10 days old. I strive to honor my baby in any way that I can - and that's why I started offering Angel Minis!

Here are a few of my favorites from all of these beautiful sessions I've done over the last year.

Another beautiful and special Angel Mini 🩵👼🏻 Loved capturing this family in honor of their little boy Levi!

"We found ourselves in fertility treatments after trying to conceive for over a year with no luck and a new diagnosis of secondary male infertility. My husband has a son from a previous relationship so this really rocked us. We went through 4 IUI rounds and finally got our positive test. We knew early Levi was a boy after doing a blood test and were so ready to add to the boy chaos at home. Every ultrasound was said to be "perfect". A few days before my glucose test I noticed Levi was moving less frequently but was assured he was too little to be consistent with movements. At 25 weeks 2 days I went in for my glucose test and we received the devastating news, "I'm sorry there is no heartbeat". We immediately went to the hospital to deliver our sweet boy. He was absolutely perfect. We found out after delivery he had something called an umbilical cord torsion. We were told no ultrasound would have ever picked this up and Levi slowly stopped receiving the nutrients he needed to grow. We spent 8 hours with Levi. Our nursing staff and MD staff went above and beyond in the time we were there. As a family we continue to include Levi in every way we can."
