Then exciting news, I am planning on Hope staying an open house on Monday, July 21!

This is the twins 75th birthday and I think there’s no better time for me to invite in as many people as possible to see all of my hard work and the collection They helped me curate !

The entire day will be very casual, feel free to come and go as much as you’d like or hang out and have fun if you’d like

There will be many promotions, running from the 21st until the end of July because my goal will be to book as many birthday parties as possible!

If I’m lucky, maybe eventually, I can meet every person in Cincinnati !

The toughest part of currently being a one woman show is, well, fill in the blank!

The current toughest part of this show, is getting caught up from the extended absence. There’s no FMLA protection, hours or staff to call in and help with the workload through my sporadic absence these last severall months

Although the work is tough, I am beyond grateful for the freedom self employment has offered me through this time! Hours will vary through July, more updates about what is next, soon!

Just know that I am really looking forward to a fun summer, to adding staff members and to getting The Cottage not only back on track, but on the fast track!

I just love how peaceful these shots of The Mississippi River feel to me. I snapped them last weekend while visiting home to celebrate the life of my Uncle Dave. As my single father’s identical twin, his role in my life (and creating Kintimit) was humongous.

Uncle Dave was an artist, author, lifelong history teacher, golf coach and second father to myself and many friends. The celebration was the perfect honor to him & his legacy. I’m proud I was able to organize it.

The Cottage will continue to be quiet through the end of April, although I’m available by telephone or messaging!

I will be excited to return to work full-steam in May, there’s so much happening upon my return and you’ll see our fantastic shop come back to life, right away!

Shop hours will continue to vary through April as I navigate to settling the home, I grew up in, multiple trips back-and-forth to Iowa and other of life’s little happenings!

Thank you for your patience and understanding with any delays!

Hi friends!

The Cottage will be closed this week while I return to Iowa, wrapping up details of the home I grew up in!

Thank you to everyone for the support, love, grace and patience through these last six months. Overall I am doing astonishingly well, as I am focusing on taking care of myself.

A new, restored focus for Kintimit is around the corner! I am excited for consistent hours and staff members!

I’m taking a personal day, y’all!

I just looked at my calendar & aside from having SO much to do, I don’t have anything on my schedule until tomorrow at noon!

After being in Iowa so much, I need a hundred days off at home! BUT I will be happy with just one! I have to unpack a lot of books, and rearrange some!

Don’t be afraid to message or call with a costume emergency, of course :):)
