🍜✨Make Noodle Month unforgettable with our Chicken Pho recipe!🥢🎊

Chicken Pho
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10-15 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients
½ tablespoon sesame oil
3 star anise
2 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger or ginger paste
6 cups chicken stock
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
Juice from 1 lime
1 jalapeño pepper sliced
1 rotisserie chicken thinly sliced or shredded
8 ounces flat rice noodles
Optional toppings: lime wedges, cilantro, Thai basil, bean sprouts

Let’s Cook!
Heat the sesame oil in a large pot set over medium heat. Add the star anise, garlic, and ginger; heat until fragrant, about 30-60 seconds. Pour in the stock, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, jalapeño pepper, and chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes uncovered.
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Divide them among 4 bowls and ladle the soup over the noodles.
Garnish with lime, cilantro, Thai basil, and bean sprouts as desired.

Kitchen Notes
Leftover rice noodles that have already been soaked or cooked should be kept in a shallow airtight container, or a resealable plastic food bag, in the fridge.
The noodles will keep for 3-4 days.
To reheat, bring the broth to a boil and pour over the noodles.
You may add extra jalapeño if you want more spice.
Use a chili pepper instead of the jalapeño for added heat.

🍕Dive into Deliciousness! Did you know you can create the perfect gluten-free pizza crust?🍕

This gluten-free crust is the best we’ve made—and maybe even better (hard to believe 😊)— than our flour-based pizza dough!

Grab your apron and let's make gluten-free pizzas together!

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour blend, plus more for sprinkling
2 ¼ tsp xanthan gum - omit if your blend already contains it
1 Tbs instant yeast
1 ½ tsp granulated sugar
1 ½ tsp kosher salt
1 ⅛ cups warm water
4 ½ Tbs extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for brushing
Your favorite pizza toppings

Instructions
Place the first four ingredients in your stand mixer or food processor and whisk to combine with a handheld whisk.
Add the salt, and whisk again to combine well.

Add the water & olive oil and mix on medium speed until the dough begins to come together.

Turn the mixer to high and process until the dough is no longer a ball but has begun to appear whipped (about 3 minutes).

Transfer the dough to an oiled container with a tight-fitting lid or a greased bowl, spray lightly with cooking oil spray, and cover tightly.

Place in a warm, draft-free area to rise until it’s about 150% of its original volume (about an hour), or refrigerate the dough for up to 3 days.

When you’re ready to make the pizza, place a pizza stone or overturned foil-rimmed baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 400°F.

If you’ve refrigerated the dough, work with it straight from the refrigerator.

If you haven’t, place the tightly sealed dough in the refrigerator to chill for at least 15 minutes before working with it.

To make a pizza, place the dough on a lightly floured surface and sprinkle with a bit more flour.

Knead the dough until it’s smoother, then divide it into two equal portions. Cover the unused portion, so it doesn’t dry out.

Roll the other half on the floured surface with a rolling pin, moving the dough frequently to prevent sticking.

Sprinkle very lightly with additional flour as necessary.

Create a smooth edge around the perimeter of the dough.

Transfer the dough to a large piece of unbleached parchment paper and brush the top of the dough generously with olive oil.

Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake it for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the crust has begun to crisp on the underside.

Remove the crust from the oven.

At this point, the parbaked crust can be cooled completely, wrapped tightly, and frozen for at least one month.

Simply defrost at room temperature and continue with the recipe as written.

To continue preparing the dough, add your favorite toppings to the parbaked crust, and return the pizza to the hot oven until the cheese is melted and the edges have browned and puffed (another 5 to 7 minutes).

Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to set for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

We've got the perfect plan—our Cucumber Watermelon Margarita brings a burst of flavor that turns any moment into a celebration🍉🥒🎊

Grab your shaker, the ingredients below, and let's Shake Up some fun!

Cucumber Watermelon Margarita Ingredients
Yields: 4
4 1/2 cups cubed watermelon, seeds removed
1 lime, juiced
1/2 cucumber (~4 in), peeled
6 oz. tequila (~2/3 cup)
3 ounces Grand Marnier (OR other orange liqueur)

For Serving
Ice
4 (10 oz.) glasses
Margarita salt, watermelon slices, mint
Rub squeezed lime across the top of 4 classes and roll the rim in salt to cover the rim.

Margarita on the Rocks
Puree the watermelon, lime juice, and cucumber together in a blender until smooth.
Strain puree through a fine kitchen strainer over a bowl to remove the pulp.
Add ice to your glasses.
Pour 1 1/2 ounces of tequila and 1/2 ounce of Grand Marnier into each of the prepared glasses.

Frozen Margarita
Chop your watermelon and add to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze for up to 6 hours or overnight until firm.
Puree with the rest of the margarita ingredients until smooth and serve.

Margarita Tips
Both fresh and frozen watermelon can be used for this recipe.
If you want to make frozen margaritas, chop your watermelon and add it to a baking sheet in a single layer.
Freeze for up to 6 hours or overnight.
Puree with the rest of the margarita ingredients until smooth and serve.
English cucumbers are best for this recipe as they have essentially no seeds and puree smoother in the blender.
Keep a few mint leaves on hand for a pretty garnish to finish off these delicious margaritas.

Trust me, you’ll want to make these cucumber watermelon margaritas a few times before this summer is over.

Want to make these margaritas a little sweeter? Add about 1 oz of simple syrup to the blender before blending.

🍒🥃 Sweet, spirited, and simply irresistible! Celebrate National Cherry Month with our Maple Old Fashioned!

Ingredients
2 teaspoons simple syrup
1 teaspoon maraschino cherry juice
2 dashes bitters
1 cup ice cubes

1.5 fluid ounces of bourbon whiskey
1 slice orange
1 maraschino cherry

Directions
Pour the simple syrup, cherry juice, and bitters into a whiskey glass
Stir to combine, then place the ice cubes in the glass
Pour bourbon over the ice and garnish with the orange slice and maraschino cherry

Ingredients
1 lb prepared pie dough, cut into 4 pieces
2 large green apples, peeled & cored
2 Tbsps butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup white sugar
2 Tbsps brown sugar
1 1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
1 tsp water
1 egg
2 tsps milk
1 tsp white sugar

Directions
Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper
Cut apples into chunks
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat
Let butter brown to a light golden color, about 1 min
Stir apples into butter, sprinkle with salt, white sugar, and brown sugar
Cook and stir apple mixture until apples soften, about 5 mins
Mix in cinnamon and water, continue cooking until apples are soft and sticky, 1 to 2 more mins
Spread apple filling onto a plate to cool

Preheat oven to 400 F
Form a dough piece into a ball, place on a floured work surface and roll into a circle about 8 inches in diameter
Spoon 1/3 to 1/2 cup apple filling in the center
Fold dough over filling, leaving about 1 inch of dough on the bottom side visible
Gently press dough closed around filling
Fold the overhanging bottom part of the dough up over the top edge, working your way around the crust, and pinch the overhang tightly to the top part of the crust
Crimp the edge tightly closed, pinching a little bit of dough with the thumb and forefinger of one hand; using the index finger of your other hand, push a small notch into the pinched dough
Continue pinching and notching all the way around
Repeat with remaining dough & filling
Transfer pies onto prepared baking sheet

Whisk egg & milk in a small bowl until thoroughly combined
Brush the top of each hand pie with egg mixture & sprinkle with 1/4 tsp white sugar
Cut 3 small vent holes in the top of each pie

Bake in the preheated oven until pies are golden brown and filling is bubbling, 25-30 mins
Let cool for at least 15 mins before serving
