We love and miss you JLo

What I’d give to get one more hug from you, JLo. I am so happy I held onto this clip of my last day on-air @local12wkrc. I can feel that warm embrace watching it back. While I was sad to no longer see these amazing people every day, from the beginning they were always so supportive of my next move. We care about each other like family. People would always ask me if what they saw on air is really what my Local 12 family was like in person. Yes. 1000% yes. The most genuine, good-hearted, funny, warm and loving crew. JLo was a calm & composed, wise & witty, steady presence and loving man who was honestly like a father to us all. That is why this news has shattered us. JLo we love and miss you but I am finding that I feel your presence when I stop and admire nature’s beauty, as you did in so many of your incredible photographs. You’d be out here on this warm spring day, capturing the flowers starting to bloom and the birds singing and celebrating the start of a new season. That will stick with me with every click of my camera moving forward. Thank you for sharing with us how you saw all the beauty in this broken world. For someone who saw so much of it, working in news, that makes the images you captured all the more powerful. Holding JLo’s family and everyone in the Tall 12 family in my heart during this painful time. 💖
