One Sunday evening Lawrence and I was setting in the park eating ice cream and Lawrence said you’re sign is looking pretty rough and we don’t have Spencer here to make us a new one. (Spencer had made this for us some 20 years ago) I said I can surely repaint over his lettering. So with the help from Cindy telling me what Spencer would have used and using his brushes I attempted it. With such good help from Joe Tannahill and his truck, he sent me up to paint until I couldn’t get to the bottom. So he told me we would have to take the bottom piece off. Lawrence took it down and he and I finished it and then put it back up. It looks better but not like it did when Spencer hung it the first time. We sure miss him so much and what talent God had given him.
