Being a wedding and event florist is glamorous and exciting, but as an everyday occasions florist also, we experience a different side of the beauty in our work. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of the quieter, more personal moments—whether it’s celebrating milestones, sharing gratitude, or offering comfort in times of grief. These everyday occasions let us witness emotions that aren’t always glamorous but are just as real and meaningful.

Today, we had the heartfelt privilege of crafting a small flower lei for a beloved chihuahua on her journey across the rainbow bridge. Creating something so delicate for her final farewell was deeply moving for us here at Sherwood Florist. We are truly grateful to her family for entrusting us during this tender time. Our hearts are with you. ❤️‍🩹

Treat all the dads this weekend and experience Claremont’s design prowess! Join us on Saturday, June 15th, from 12 PM to 2 PM for a special pop-up at Sherwood Florist. Located opposite one of Millard Sheets’ architectural gems, Sherwood Florist is Claremont’s premier destination for floral artistry and creative workshops.

At 12:30 PM, witness a demonstration showcasing the restoration process of vintage modern chairs. Then, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, immerse yourself in an ikebana workshop led by the talented , utilizing mid-century ikebana vases. Bring your own vase or choose one from Modern For All’s collection, and depart with a masterpiece for your living space. ($40/person for the ikebana workshop, booking required). Don’t forget to hop on over to the Maloof for their event from 3 PM - 5 PM!
