After setting up an obstacle course for one of his classes, Cody Tancreti '13 was inspired to create a similar course for people with disabilities, giving them an opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and compete against each other in a one-of-a-kind setting.

Tough decision was come to today regarding spring football.

$522 for Insurance to use the field
$130 port a potty
$75 Paint
$100 misc supplies
This is how much it costs us (on top of our own time and energy) to run 4 on 4 flag football.

We are at $827 operating costs before paying officials, which we were hoping to do this year. This all needs to be paid BEFORE the season begins, which is why we had to delay a week in hopes that all who said "we're playing" would make it official.
This league is our main funding source for our youth scholarship fund, if we are operating at just break even there isn't much of a purpose, and we cannot operate at a loss.

With only ONE team paid at this point we simply cannot hold a spring league, we can't afford to. We had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but it has become clear that the interest isn't there and we failed.

It's not completely over, we will put our focus into one-day tournaments and events over the summer.

With only one team officially registered as of today, we are postponing the season start date, for tentatively Sunday 5/13.

Spring League Players:
At this point unless all teams are registered by Wednesday we will be pushing back the start of the season to May 13th.

Please, if you are intending on registering a team DO IT NOW online or reach out to Michael Coutermarsh or Kimberly Irish asap. It takes us some time to put the schedule and officials together and as of today only ONE team is officially committed.

If you're not on the Moose and thought you were registered, reach out to your captain!

Yes, we have been silent for a LONG time.... too long! We've been pretty busy with you know, life.

Ok guys. Here is what we will do.

Interested parties who want to organize and run fall football going forward please post here.

We will set up a meeting asap. I will not leave you hanging. I will help get your insurance and venues.

This is now your chance to take this league to the next level.

You will need 5 minimum I think in order to not overwhelm people.

The clock is ticking. In order to run a full season you must kick off by Sept 1st and beat the bad weather.

I want to thank all the teams that bothered to show up today.

That being said, I am extremely disappointed with the teams that dont respect the effort that goes into making this all go.

I am a father of 4. Who takes many hours away from them so we can play this stupid game. For these teams to not have the respect to not show up, and furthermore, not let anyone know is a total slap in the face to everyone involved with making this work.

At this time. We will NOT be hosting our fall league for 2017.

It is no longer worth the time and effort for this to continue

We secured the field at Monadnock, but due to the weather, this weekend just isn't a possibility.
We apologize, we know how much you all wanted to be outside on a chilly Sunday morning in the pouring rain :)
We will begin the season May 14th at Monadnock and move to River Valley as soon as the field is clear!
