There’s a lot of great locations for engagement sessions in PA, but this one was the easiest choice EVER. When I got on the phone with and and they told me that Sam proposed at , I knew immediately we needed to do their session there. Ironically, just a few days before that phone call I received my permit to photograph at this amazing park!

We had a great time hiking the trails and got some insanely awesome photos throughout the park. It’s by far one of my favorite locations, and the light hits perfectly around sunset. I can’t wait for their wedding! Oh and yes they totally brought their cat, Gravy, for a photo 😁.

I spoke about fate in my last post, and the wedding between and is another great example that proves its existence. Brianna and Matt have known each other their whole lives (their families have even vacationed together) and it was really cool seeing their family dynamic in action. There were so many special moments like Matt’s dad seeking out Brianna for a dance, Brianna’s mom dancing it up with the Popowicz family, and many happy tears from all during speeches. Brianna and Matt, thank you for letting me capture the love between all of you and I look forward to following all your future family moments ❤️.

This is one of those moments where connection means EVERYTHING to me. It’s amazing when I et to give back to families and friends that positively impacted me throughout my life and the Boughton family truly deserves everything amazing in this world. I grew up a few streets over from Jennifer in the little township of Pittston. Her sister and brother were basically my non-biological oldersiblings as we spent every day together since they were instructors with the marching band. Both of them are honestly huge influences in my artistic abilities and I will always be grateful! When Erin (Jennifer’s sister) asked to get her an engagement session as a present I was so excited!

I love where I grew up and the people met. Did you know Pittston even has its own lingo? Pretty cool “Heyna”?

Im a huge believer in “fate”. Last year, I scheduled a haircut and was randomly assigned Erika Cantafio. I got to the appointment and we immediately hit it off, talking about everything including my passion for wedding photography. She told me she was engaged and doing a local courthouse wedding, but later doing a ceremony and party in Siesta Key. I totally thought she was joking when she said “you should be my photographer” and actually left thinking “no way she’s for real”. I think my wife heard me jumping for joy when she followed later that week me on IG and asked “are you sure you can’t come to Florida for my wedding?”.

After some scary storms leading up to the big day, it turned out to be an absolutely perfect wedding weekend. I’m so glad fate led me to Erika (and her awesome husband John), and I’m so glad I was able to create some amazing memories for them!
