THANK YOU ALL sooo much for all your orders for our “Dinner By The Pool” event at the Gibbstown Swim Club on Thursday! We’ve got another event coming up on Thursday, July 25th, so if you missed this one, be sure to order for the next.

Before I open the order form again, I want some feedback from the last time. A few questions I have are:

🐓 Would you rather have a regular-sized sandwich for a cheaper price, rather than a double-sized sandwich for a premium price?
⏰ 4PM pickup time seemed a bit too early, and because I don’t have a normal work schedule, I didn’t consider people working a normal day 😂 Shall we push pickup time to 6PM — closer to dinnertime?
🐄 Not a question, just a suggestion: order the beef — that was my favorite of all the items!!
🔥 While I can refrigerate things, I don’t have a way to keep things hot. Was everyone okay with the temperature of their food on Thursday?

Any and all feedback is welcomed before I re-open the order form for the next dinner! 😁🌊

You all are 🤏 *this* close to making this a sell-out event! I'm going to close the order form by midnight, so if you want to order Dinner By The Pool! you have the rest of today to do so. Just 2 days ago I had about 15 orders, and now we're up to 71, so things are going FAST. Don't miss out on this fun event, Gibbstown Swim Club! Remember, even if you aren't a member, you can order food to take home with you. We all know it's too hot to turn on the oven, so don't make cooking a priority after this heat wave. Only 89° on Thursday, so it'll be a welcomed relief. See you then!

Dinner By The Pool just got a whole 'lot cooler! Since my obsession with The Bear's third season, , I have decided to add a "The Bear" Inspired Italian Beef Sandwich! Seasoned Italian beef, housemade giardiniera, and provolone on an Italian roll. Available NOW for pre-order for July 11th and July 25th! The link to order is in the comments!

Congratulations x 3! 🎓📜📓 Shout out to The Millers for their triplets’ college graduations from Towson and West Virginia University. We celebrated at in Monroeville, NJ 🥃 with Cheesesteak Sliders with Cooper Sharp, on the one and only rolls, Sicilian Caesar Salad, Pulled Pork Sliders with House Slaw, Spinach-Artichoke Crab Dip, Greek Orzo Salad, and Roasted Potato Wedges with Chipotle Ranch. It was a scorcher, but we made it through! ☀️🔥

Summer is HERE and we're celebrating by the pool! ⛱💦☀️

Join us for "Dinner By The Pool" in July, where we're inviting members of the Gibbstown Swim Club (and non-members for pick-up to-go!) to have The Community Plate Catering make dinner. Don't worry about going home to cook, and hang out by the pool all night. 🌙 The pool is open late on Thursdays in July, so you'll have extra time to enjoy. Use the order form, which is attached in the comments, to place your order, and it will be ready for pickup in the pavilion starting at 4PM on Thursday, July 11th and Thursday, July 25th.

Another Sunday Brunch in the books! 🤩 We had our signature Blueberry-Lemon French Toast Casserole, everyone’s favorite! 🫐🍋 But don’t hesitate to request different flavors, we do so many fun ones, like Peaches and Cream, and Caramel Apple. Bacon-gouda frittata, mini breakfast sandwiches, and hash brown casserole round out the hot food, then we finished the table with muffins, bagels, pastries, and more. And peep the second-to-last pic ➡️ my favorite little munchkin sneaking a munchkin from the display! 😍🍩

Not only am I obsessed with Kaitlyn, Mike, and their ever-growing, adorable family, but I’m also obsessed with the professional pictures they had taken of the buffet at their beautiful daughter’s First Holy Communion this weekend! 💜🩵💚 Thank you SO much to the Colleluori and Bernardino families for having The Community Plate Catering handle their special event on Saturday morning. Does The Community Plate logo need a little flair? Should I put a color bubble behind the logo itself or leave it alone? (I personally like the purple, maybe a shade softer). Secondly, should the word “catering” be offset like it is now, or should I center it?

🌀ROLL IN A BOWL!🌀

Not your typical catering post here, but I have to share one of my favorite favorite dinners! If you have leftover rice, or get a 90-second rice packet, it’s done in just a few minutes. Add shrimp to the mix, and you’re talking about a 15 minute dinner. This Sushi Bowl has cilantro lime rice, dollops of cream cheese, chopped cucumber, imitation crab (don’t freak out, you can use real crab if you want, but I equate a California Roll with imitation), roasted seasoned shrimp, furikake, and everything seasoning, drizzled with sriracha mayo. Toss the rice with a bit of sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar or ponzu, too! 🍣🍤 A lot of ingredients, a lot of flavor, and not a lot of work!

(With a pretty little buffet, if I do say so myself 😉) The Community Plate Catering was in Salem County this weekend at Salem River Inn with a “Decorate Your Own Donut” Bar, a “Yogurt Parfait” Bar, A Brunch Graze, Peach French Toast, and much more! 🪴🌅🍩

Like, literally if you don’t have it, come to NJ and get some and keep it in your freezer. It’s the only way. Spread it with 2-3 tablespoons of the Priano Rosso Pesto from @aldiusa. Top with sliced boiled eggs and the mixed up salt and enjoy!
