Good morning dragonfly. As my son Colin was leaving for school this morning. He calls me outside and says look mom look what I found! I love all insects, and animals. Dragonflies have many meanings, but this is what I’m gonna take from our visitor today.

Good fortune
Dragonflies can symbolize good fortune and prosperity, and may indicate a positive experience is coming.

Other meanings
Dragonflies can also symbolize happiness, new beginnings, love, creative imagination, and clear vision.

Oh my goodness! I truly do love what I do. And even more today.

I received such a pleasant surprise 🙀today while Face Painting!! 👧I painted this little girl as a 😻kitty cat. I showed her what she looked like, and then she left my table. To my surprise she came back with a card for me. I said oh is this card for me and I asked for a big hug! I really wish I would’ve thought of opening it with her standing there, but I did not nor did I get a picture with her. Oh my goodness, to my surprise when I open this card, this is what I had inside. Thank you thank you to that little girl that I painted as a kitty cat named Cameron. And thank you mommy for teaching her to give such kindness. You made my day I can’t stop smiling. 😊🥰😘🎨🖌️

Project time part 3: “Art Project, Michelle” I am working on a art project for my cousin Michelle, I am working on this project in my spare time, so the process is kind of slow. This part of the project I did with family and friends of Michelle. We put clumps of paint on a canvas and then I put them in Ziploc bags. We used our fingers to spread around the paint. It was a good project for Michelle because it was less messy.

Project time Part 2: “Art Project Michelle” I am working on an art project for my cousin Michelle this part of the project was done at Acrylic Pouring Painting. L@ at all the gorgeous colors. I love the flow of an acrylic pouring texture fluid art. I am not done yet. Stay tuned for the next part.

2 New face painting kits. And new supplies!
I try to have my kit as small as possible and pack my extra supplies inside a suitcase, but I’m finding that at an event if I want something from the packed supplies I don’t get it because , it’s probably gonna be too much trouble or I have tucked that suitcase under the table. This year I think I would like a kit that’s just a bit bigger so that I can get to some of my extra fun colorful supplies. I am always changing and re-inventing

New Year’s intentions.
Did you make a New Years resolution? Well a New Year is here. New Year fresh start, new habits. I would like to focus on fixing a few things this year within my business.

I have a few new face painting designs I would like to try out this year. Notice the word TRY. Sometimes when I try new designs, they are not in my muscle memory. Well, I plan to embrace some new designs on the job this year. Sometimes I’ll get nervous to try a new design on the job or sometimes I embrace it.

What I have planned for the New Year 2024. I am working on a few things…

- [ ] I’m working on some new designs.
- [ ] I am also working on a new Face Painting kit.
- [ ] Use stencils while Face Painting. I don’t usually use stencils on Face Painting. I keep all my stencils with my airbrushing, but I thought this year I would like to start using some stencils to add to my Face Painting designs.

As the New Year begins it has taught me. That life can change at blink of an eye.. I need to find the balance between work and rest. 🤔Make more time to spend with family and friends. I hope that this year brings with it, a year of peace, a year of joy, a year of plenty, a year of fun with friends, and full of blessings… Here is wishing everyone a Happy and prosperous New Year! 😘🎉🎊🎆

I had so much fun this Festive December I had a few events that I DID NOT have to speed, paint. I was able to come up with a few variations of the most requested design. Grinch in the lead then Rudolph Reindeer, Snowman, Winter Eye etc…

Grinch Face at first I didn’t like the style of the design I picked for my aging face, but I kept playing with it and this is what I came up with…. Is it too late to be good?

🙃 You might be asking why would I share an empty paint container picture with you? 🤔 That’s because I ran out of two split cakes this December! 😱👏 I had to make 2 more custom split cake. I painted so many Grinch faces and Reindeer this festive December. 🌟 A Grinch split cake. Last time I had just 💚green and💛 yellow this time I added 🖤black, 💚green and 💛yellow. Reindeer Before I had 🖤black, 🤎brown and 🤍white. This time I did 🖤black, 🤎brown, 💛gold and 🤍white. I have two more bookings this weekend. Then I will share with you all the different designs I had the pleasure of painting at some wonderful festive events this December…. 🎄🎅🕎
