History, Elegance, & Charm

Built in 1930, this 12,000 square ft. building with its neoclassic design, served as the former Bank of Clarksdale. After The Bank was no longer the bank, it became home of The Clarksdale Press Register for many years. This newspaper office setting provided the perfect opportunity for The Bank to be used as the set of The Jackson Journal for the Academy Award Nominated film, The Help. Today, The Bank is one of the Mississippi Delta’s premier event spaces. With its towering ceiling, marble columns, and sculptural accents, the historical building in the heart of Downtown Clarksdale is the perfect place to play host to all of your guests.
