About the Owner: Tiffany Malena

I’ve been dancing since the age of 2-1/2 and it has gone from a past-time, to a passion, to a career. I began teaching dance classes in high school and my own studio, “Steps at Tiffany’s” was born in July of 2007. In December 2007, I graduated from Wayne State College with majors in Business Management and Human Resource Management. I do all of the teaching, chore

ography, and costuming for Steps at Tiffany’s. My classes are combination classes in that your dancer does not have to choose one form of dance, but learns a variety of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop throughout the lessons. My goals in owning my studio are to continuously create a positive atmosphere where all of my dancers not only learn dance, but also gain confidence, grace, and poise. I love what I do, and do what I love and feel so blessed to share the gift of dance. �

When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me with my husband Sean of 13 years who supports me every step of the way; our little ballerinas: Emery (9) and Everly (5); and the future curtain puller: Creed (2).

It was so fun entertaining for the Clarkson-Leigh Patriots vs Howells-Dodge Jaguars basketball halftimes tonight for our very first performances of the season!! The varsity and senior teams performed for a fun crowd with dancers from both sides of the court!! 🏀 ☺️

Happy Thanksgiving from Steps at Tiffany’s! Every class got to share one of the many things they were thankful for! I thought to record them on Tuesday, the last classes before Thanksgiving break! We talked about how Thanksgiving and Christmas were both coming up so excitement is definitely mounting for both!

I’m so thankful for each and every dancer and the opportunity to share their heart with me and vise versa. I’m incredibly grateful to not only teach them dance, but see them grow in confidence as tiny little humans who have so much to offer to this world! God’s Blessings to everyone and a reminder weekly dance will resume in January.

Weekly dance begins in a couple weeks! The Varsity and other dance teams have been busy in the studio with their first practices in the books! SO FUN! Weekly dance begins the first full week after Labor Day, starting on Monday, September 9th! SO EXCITED! To 18 YEARS!!

I do all of the teaching, choreography, and costuming for Steps at Tiffany’s. My classes are combination classes in that dancers do not have to choose one form of dance, but will learn them all throughout the lessons. There are various classes offered for dancers age 2-18. The styles taught include: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. My goals in owning my studio are to continuously create a positive environment where all my dancers not only learn dance, but also gain confidence, grace, and poise. I love what I do, and do what I love and feel so blessed to share the gift of dance.

When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me with my husband Sean and our two little girls, Emery & Everly, who are my true dancing inspirations, and our brand new baby boy, Creed. Thanks for stopping by!
